Notice of State Bar Bylaw Amendments

The latest issue of Wisconsin Lawyer begins its report with this summary.
"The Board of Governors revised State Bar Bylaw Article II regarding officer succession and Article III regarding meetings of the board and the succession of governors, Judicial Council members, and ABA delegates. The Board of Governors also revised State Bar Bylaw Article III, Article VII, and Article IX regarding official publication."
As Steve Levine pointed out (see this earlier post), the amended Article III, Section 10, provides for removal of a member of the Board of Governors,
"if the governor engages in conduct which is contrary to the best interest of the State Bar as determined by the affirmative vote of 75 percent of the total membership of the Board..."
